本院은 退溪學 및 韓國儒學을 위시한 儒學一般에 관한 연구를 진작시키기 위하여 學術誌 『退溪學報』를 간행한다. 學報 編輯委員會는 다음과 같이 編輯 방침을 정하고, 국내외 학자 여러분의 보다 적극적인 참여를 기대한다.

1. 投稿의 範圍 및 揭載 順序
투고는 한ㆍ중ㆍ일ㆍ영ㆍ독ㆍ불 등 세계의 어느 문자로도 가능하며, 그 범위와 게재 순서는 다음(아래의 열거 순서)과 같이 한다.

1) 퇴계학에 관련되는 논문
   (1) 퇴계의 인간 자체 및 철학ㆍ사상ㆍ예학ㆍ역사관련ㆍ예술ㆍ문학 기타.
   (2) 퇴계학파의 개별 인간 자체 및 철학ㆍ사상ㆍ예학ㆍ역사관련ㆍ예술ㆍ문학 기타.
2) 한국의 유학
   * 분야별 게재 순서는 위의 퇴계학에 준함.
3) 중국ㆍ일본 등 동아시아 유학
   * 분야별 게재 순서는 위의 퇴계학에 준함.
4) 한국 및 동아시아의 유학 이외 노ㆍ장 등 제자백가의 철학ㆍ사상 및 이에 입각한 예술ㆍ문학 등.
5) 유학에 관련된 文學ㆍ史學ㆍ政治, 經濟, 産業 등 社會科學 전반의 연구논문
6) 기타
   * 위의 규정으로 미진한 문제가 발생한 경우에는 편집위원회가 결정한다.

2. 論文 公募

1) 『퇴계학보』 발간은 연 2회로 하되, 前半期는 6월 30일, 後半期는 12월 31일에 발간한다.
      (원고의 공모 기한은 발간일 기준 75일 이전으로 한다.)
2) 투고된 논문으로서 게재가 결정된 논문에 대해서는 고료 50만원을 지급한다.
     단 原稿의 分量이 기준 이하일 때에는 적의 감액한다.
3) 퇴계학에 대한 연구로서 우수하다고 평가되는 논문 1편에 대해서는 특별 우대한다.
4) 연구비를 지원받은 논문에 대하여는 고료를 지급하지 아니한다.
5) 퇴계학연구원의 학술지인 『퇴계학보』에 게재된 논문 등의 저작재산권, 복제전송권은 본 연구원이 소유하며,
    투고 시 ‘연구윤리 서약서’ 및 『퇴계학보』게재 논문에 대한 PDF의 판매 서비스, 온라인에서의 논문 열람 서비스 등
    저작권 양도에 동의하는 ‘저작재산권 양도 확인서’를 제출한다. 다만, 게재된 논문 등의 필자가 본인의 논문 등을
    사용할 경우에는 학회는 특별한 사정이 없는 한 이를 승인한다.

3. 論文 作成要領

1) 논문의 英文 제목을 英文 Abstract[요약문]의 앞 부분에 明示한다.
      이 때, 영문으로 성명(Name)과 소속ㆍ직위를 밝힌다.
2) 공동집필인 경우, 제1집필자, 공동집필자의 구분을 明示한다.
3) 집필자 및 공동집필자의 소속, 직위를 구체적으로 明示하고 그를 증명할 수 있는 재직증명서 사본 또는
      Home Page 복사물을 논문과 함께 提出한다.
4) 목차를 논문의 앞부분에 一括提示하고, 논문의 主題語(Key Word)들을 요약문[抄錄]의 뒤,
      본문의 앞부분에 摘示한다.
5) 本文과 같은 言語로 요약문을 작성하여 本文 앞에 倂載한다.
6) 本文이 영문이 아닌 경우, 英文 Abstract[요약문]은 본문의 뒷부분에 첨부한다.
7) 參考文獻의 완벽한 書誌的 情報를 明示한다.
8) 原稿의 分量은 200字 원고지 기준 100매 내지 150매로 한다.
9) 국문(영문)초록은 A4 1쪽 내외로 작성한다.
   * 별첨 ｢논문 집필요령｣ 참조. ― 투고 접수의 요건임.

4. 投稿 方法

   * 原稿를 온라인논문투고시스템(https://toegye.jams.or.kr) 또는 E-mail로 本院에 提出
   * 投稿者의 인적사항, 구체적 所屬, 住所, 전화 번호 明記
(증빙이 되는 재직증명서 사본 또는 Home Page 복사물을 논문과 동봉함)

The Journal of Toegye Studies, an official publication of The T'oegye Studies Institute aims to publish all kinds of quality articles in relation to T'oegye's learning as well as Korean Confucianism in general. The Editorial Committee welcomes submissions of articles that are printed in various languages like Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, German, and French etc. The ranges and the primary order of publication are as follows.

1) Quality Articles on the Tʼoegye Studies.

(1) Everything related to Tʼoegye like his character, philosophy, literature, historical views, aesthetic ideas, the ritual studies and the classical studies etc.
(2) Everything related to each member of the School of Tʼoegye like their characters, philosophies, literatures, historical views, aesthetic ideas, the ritual studies and the classical studies etc.

2) Korean Confucianism

➤ The primary order of publication will be decided by the criteria of how much it is associated with the Tʼoegye Studies.

3) Confucianism in the East Asian Countries like China and Japan

➤ The primary order of publication will be decided by the criteria of how much it is associated with the Tʼoegye Studies.

4) Hundred Schools of Thought like Taoism, Mohism, and Legalism etc. in the pre-Qin period, Buddhist philosophy and the art, literature that are based on the thoughts of the schools.

5) Research papers about general Literature, History, and Social Studies such as Politics, Economy, Industry focusing on Confucianism.

   * An unexpected problem the guideline above might miss will be discussed by the editorial committee.

1. A Call for Papers

◎ As an academic journal of Tʼoegye Studies Institute(退溪學硏究院), The T'oegye Hakbo(The Journal of Tʼoegye Studies) is currently seeking for manuscripts which would further continue diverse discussions of Tʼoegye. For manuscript which is published will be paid a certain fee. For one manuscript which is evaluated as outstanding research on Tʼoegye Studies will receive an honorarium amounting per article.
(The Tʼoegye Studies Institute holds the copyright of the articles published in the journal.)

2. Stylistic Guidelines for an Article

1) The title of the Article in English should be attached before the abstract in English.
2) In the case of co-authoring, a distinction should be made between the first author and second author.
3) The institutions and positions of the first author and second author should be indicated concretely and the statements to prove them should be submitted.
4) The table of the contents should be provided at the head of the articles and the key words at both the head of the article and at the end of the abstract.
5) Abstract of the article should be made in the same language as the article and provided at the head of the article.
6) Unless the articles are written in English, an abstract in English should be provided at the end of article.
7) Complete bibliographical information should be provided, concerning books cited.
8) The length of each article should be between 10,000 and 15,000 words.
9) The abstract should be around one page or less (A4-size).

3. The Way of Submission

1) Attachments containing a file of the article should be submitted via our online submission page or email.
2) Authors are encouraged to inform us about authorʼs contact information (name with academic title, institution, mailing, e-mail, phone and fax on top of the article) with a statement to prove them.
3) Every paper should be submitted with Pledge on Research Ethics and Copyright Transfer. If author requires for use of copyright, Institute will approve the request unless any restrictions violated.
